Corporate Accounting Manager

As part of our continued growth and success, we are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our strategic financial planning and analysis.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and manage all aspects of payroll reporting.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze financial management reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure best practices and compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from the President and other managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate.
• Hold self to a higher standard, being a role model at all times
• Works safely and efficiently.
• Flexible schedule, and must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or a combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in restaurant accounting or F&B preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements.
• 5+ years accounting/finance experience required.
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience, required.

• Experience in training, and managing personnel.
• Auditing, accounting and corporate finance.
