POSITION SUMMARY:
This position’s primary focus includes daily shipping and receiving duties, cycle counting, production orders, shipping logistics, facilities maintenance, and warehouse quality system activities assigned by the Warehouse Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organization of all inventory and other items in the warehouse
· Ensures all company warehouse procedures are followed (quality and accuracy).
· Process incoming shipments utilizing business software to verify accuracy, identify proper storage locations, and proper placement once received.
· Responsible for fulfilling special requirements identified by the customer service team and management for customer shipments.
· Maintain inventory accuracy and daily cycle count; verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate any discrepancies.
· Manage stock location assignments by determining proper storage methods, identification, and stock location.
· Manage Ready To Pick process to ensure all sales orders, production orders, and transfers are filled on-time as prescribed by order parameters.
· Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
· Ensure shipments are adequately packaged for delivery to final customer site, maintaining high standards in packaging.
· Coordinate the scheduling of all LTL shipments as well as ensuring daily UPS/FedEx pickups and deliveries.
· Pick production order components in advance of Custom Solution assembly schedule.
· Manage branch-specific Open Deliveries.
· Perform routine warehouse equipment maintenance.
· Work closely with Warehouse Lead to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

· Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and ability to learn company inventory software.
· Attention to detail and quality.
· Ability to operate forklift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High School diploma and/or equivalent required.
· Previous warehouse/shipping & receiving experience preferred.
· Must hold a valid Driver License for their State.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-100lbs.
· Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
· Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
· Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision; color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
