Position: Copywriter / Social Media Specialist
Job Description:
The Copywriter / Social Media Specialist is a versatile creative professional responsible for producing compelling written content for various marketing channels, including Social Media platforms, websites, advertisements, and marketing collateral. This role requires a combination of exceptional writing skills, Social Media expertise, and an understanding of effective communication to engage and connect with the target audience. This role is an in office position.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive written content for a variety of marketing materials, including Social Media posts, blog articles, website copy, email campaigns, advertisements, and product descriptions.
Social Media Management: Manage and schedule Social Media posts across different platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Create and curate content that aligns with brand voice and messaging.
Audience Engagement: Monitor and actively engage with Social Media communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Foster positive interactions and build relationships with followers.
Content Planning: Develop and maintain content calendars that outline the posting schedule and themes. Ensure a consistent and cohesive brand presence on Social Media.
SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices into written content to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams to create visually appealing and effective Social Media content that incorporates both text and visuals.
Performance Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of Social Media campaigns, content engagement, and conversion metrics. Use insights to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Copywriting: Craft compelling copy for various marketing materials, ensuring that it resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand's messaging and tone.
Campaign Integration: Integrate Social Media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives and promotions. Ensure that Social Media efforts are aligned with overall marketing objectives.
Monitoring Trends: Stay up-to-date with Social Media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to implement innovative strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Social Media marketing are a plus.
Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or Social Media Specialist, with a strong portfolio showcasing written content and Social Media campaigns.
Proficiency in Social Media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and content management systems (CMS).
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Knowledge of Social Media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for content engagement.
Familiarity with SEO principles and practices.
Creative thinking and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit different marketing channels and platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
