Job Description

A Copywriter will be primarily responsible for writing and producing both short- and long-form copy for iFrog partners and internal iFrog initiatives, including but not limited to: partner and iFrog advertising copy, social media posts, website content, marketing emails, blogs, press releases, miscellaneous promotional copy, and taglines.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and drive brand consistency for iFrog partners and iFrog across all produced copy.
• Produce creative, easy-to-read, and targeted copy for iFrog partners and iFrog.
• Produce concise and targeted advertising copy for paid social and paid search mediums.
• Partner with the Executive Editor, Content Manager, and the SEO Department to establish monthly search engine optimization strategies to plan and produce website content.
• Partner with the Design Department to develop taglines for images.
• Write optimized and engaging subject lines, preview texts, and content for email marketing.
• Build website pages for partners with specified design requests in mind.
• As needed, help examine and submit partner website pages for compliance.
• Monitor page performance via Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEO Monitor, etc.
• Study SEO resources and keep up to date with any changes.
• Self-edit and proof work to uphold iFrog editorial and plagiarism standards.
• Partner with the Executive Editor and the Accounts/Performance Department to establish monthly marketing strategies.
• The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
• All other duties as assigned by iFrog Leadership.

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-2 years experience in short- and long-form copy and/or content writing. Recent relevant writing curricula may be substituted.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent self-editing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
• Knowledge of publishing and content management platforms (WordPress, Blox, etc.).
• Knowledge of social media planning platforms (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Agorapulse, HootSuite, etc.).
• Knowledge of marketing metrics, analysis, and interpretation.
• Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Recent Google Academy certification(s).
• Proficient with Google Suite.
• Proficient with macOS.

Travel:

Minimal travel required.
