Copywriter

The successful Copywriter successful candidate will be a versatile writer with a strong emphasis on prioritizing the client's needs. They are responsible for synthesizing overarching business goals and localized audience insights to write engaging, persuasive messages that support our brand promise. Primarily a function of the Marketing team, this role adds value across organizational functions including, but not limited to: sales, food & beverage, operations, internal communications and recruitment. Their positive, can-do attitude and expert copywriting skills will help us elevate the internal creative agency, Studio O, while providing our clients with targeted, functional and on-brand creative solutions.

• Write messaging for all deliverables produced in house by our Studio O creative agency on behalf of Oasis.
• Prepare written assets for all stages of production by collaborating with the Creative Director, marketing managers and other marketing stakeholders.
• Propose channel-specific optimizations to existing in-market messages appearing on branded websites, sales collateral, email communications and advertising media.
• Steward our unique brand identity and position by writing in the voice, style and tone as defined by our brand guidelines.
• Accurately identify when messaging models can be replicated and/or re-purposed across business functions, markets, and/or audiences vs. when a request warrants a unique approach.
• Support owned media channels upon request with copy deliverables including, but not limited to organic social captions and promotional content.
• Identify and document opportunities to develop storytelling strategies for future content marketing initiatives.
• Provide creative messaging consultation for sales, revenue, food-&-beverage, people and other department leads as needed.
• Self-audit, edit and proofread raw copy deliverables.
• Review digital and print production proofs for clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors as requested.
• Proactively research, discover and share new ideas that drive demand and interest in the Company’s products and services.
• Lend expertise and enthusiasm to special projects that drive revenue or advance company culture.
• Deliver copy assets within designated timelines and communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations.

All other duties perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or a related field preferred
• 3+ years’ copywriting experience within an in-house creative team, an agency or brand-side marketing department
• Familiarity with design software project management software and/or workflow systems (Monday.com) and Digital Asset Management systems

• Demonstrated ability to write clearly, concisely, and on strategy, hospitality industry experience a plus. All submissions for this position must include online portfolio or provide samples showcasing past work.
