The Copywriter reports to the Associate Creative Director (Copy), while working across multiple teams and accounts and is critical to Sales Factory’s ability to distinguish itself through its creative product. As a Copywriter, you add to the agency’s value by consistently working to a high standard of excellence across all teams and accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related discipline and/or advertising graduate school;
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional copywriting experience for Junior Copywriter;
- Agency experience a plus.

● Have a competent knowledge of digital advertising, social media, SEO, websites, etc., to ensure that copy
translates appropriately to the needs of those mediums
● Work and communicate with a range of personalities and work styles both internally and with clients
● Make sure the ACD is signing off on concepts being presented and is aware of any issues
Key Responsibilities:
● Write clear, concise and grammatically correct copy that is error-free
● Write and edit copy for a variety of projects, including traditional and digital advertising, promotional
material/brochures, websites, blogs, e-commerce, and social media
● Work closely with the Marketing Strategy, Insights & Analytics, and Digital teams to brainstorm ideas, create
concepts and develop on-strategy messaging
● Write engaging copy that connects with the target audience and drives desired action
● Create on-brand, on-strategy, compelling creative solutions that are supported by research
● Meet assigned deadlines and, if necessary, communicate proactively to shift deadlines
● Continually develop and refine your knowledge and abilities to perform at the highest levels
● Ensure that copy delivers on client strategies and brand voice while also maximizing SEO
● Seek and share examples of creative excellence with the team while maintaining an awareness of work being
produced by industry-leading creatives
● Read industry and consumer publications to keep up with our changing profession and share that information with
others
● Identify and participate in opportunities to build and expand a professional network
● Promote Sales Factory and become an ambassador for the agency
● Add to the culture of Sales Factory by participating in/creating new events and activities
