TOP SKILLS MUST HAVES:

1. 5+ years of experience writing copy for all varieties of channels, in the ecommerce and retail industries

2. Experience writing for campaigns within the technology or devices space

3. Ability to defend their work and provide a good rationale for their choices in front of customers and stakeholders

Description:

Responsibilities

• Write voice guides and build master copy docs for launch campaigns and post-purchase engagement

• Collaborate with other writers, creatives, and marketers to ensure omni-channel alignment (Online, Direct, Indirect).

• Own copywriting for device and service brands—specifically taglines, why buys, detail page headlines, digital ads, and retail signage—while adhering to an authentic brand voice.

• Partner with design to concept stories and big ideas for product launches and events.

• Work closely with product marketing, brand creation, and site merchants to develop creative strategy and positioning.

• Collaborate with brand strategists to brainstorm product names.

• Proofread all final assets.

Basic qualifications

An online portfolio of work showing both short-form and long-form copy across online and offline marketing vehicles.

Preferred qualifications

Experience following brand guides and The Chicago Manual of Style.

Ability to think critically, present copy best practices and defend messaging choices.

Demonstrated ability to affect customer perceptions and behavior with compelling stories.

Can comfortably present to all levels within the organization in both written and verbal communication.

Proven ability to adapt writing to various consumer audiences and product categories.

Strong copyediting and proofreading skills.

Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.

Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Advertising or marketing experience, preferably with experience working with premium and global brand
