Job Description
- Create and maintain an Electrical Safety and Electrical Preventative Maintenance programs used to satisfy both current and future National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) requirements.
- Consistently measure and monitor program for accuracy and compliance.
- Revise program as required to comply with periodic code changes.
- Perform the administrative functions required for the role.
- Act as the liaison between Searles Valley Minerals and external energy suppliers.
- Work closely with accounting department of energy cost tracking and forecasting
- Create and maintain energy usage reports for trend analysis to augment strategic energy plan.
- Serve as the departments ISO coordinator
- Assist with interdepartmental annual audits
- Coordinate internal and external audits as required and coordinate corrective actions in response to audit findings.
- Provide oversight and facilitate the current departmental training efforts.
- Manage current craft apprenticeship programs
- Facilitate training of CPR, First Aid, AED to qualified electrical workers to ensure compliance with regulation.
- Augment planning/scheduling efforts in relation to project timelines, cost tracking, and keeping key project objectives on time.
