Job Description
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Coordinator, High School Programs and Educational Partnershipsposition. The Coordinator, High School Programs and Educational Partnershipswill be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing strategies and activities that optimize enrollments by attracting new Educational Partnerships students to the College. This includes (but not limited to) participating in recruitment initiatives and outreach for High School Programs, University Center and. This is accomplished by providing essential information about the College as it relates to recruitment and enrollment; making vital information available to the community through visits and presentations; working collaboratively with college faculty, staff, and current students to attract new students and maintain current students; fostering awareness, promotion, and support of the College’s mission and academic program offerings.
Position works primarily out of the Pottstown campus, but with responsibilities at both the Blue Bell and Pottstown campuses.
*This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances prior to the start date.
**Ability to travel, work nights and weekend as needed.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
1. Education/Training/Work Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
· 3-5 years of experience and proven success in a consultative sales position in a higher education setting preferred.
· Ability to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.
· Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
· Evidence of strong presentation, written, verbal skills and interpersonal communication skills.
· Understanding of the Community College mission/philosophy, practice and population.
· Demonstrated ability to work with administrative computer hardware and software.
· Demonstrated leadership skills.
· Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to creatively problem solve.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
· Demonstrated success in making higher educational opportunities accessible to underrepresented and non-traditional students.
· Demonstrated success in relationship building and community outreach.
· Demonstrated success in event management, planning and execution.
· Demonstrated experience working with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tools to support student success and retention.
