TITLE: Coordinator for In-Person Outreach
REPORTS TO: Outreach Manager
ENTITIES: Mount Olivet Cemetery Association (Mt. Olivet) Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary at Mount Olivet, Inc. (the Mortuary) Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary at Caldwell-Kirk St. Simeon Cemetery Association (St. Simeon) (collectively, the Entities)
ENTITY: Mt. Olivet Cemetery was consecrated in 1892 and is located on the western side of the Denver Metro area in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. It is the largest cemetery in Colorado containing 392 acres. St. Simeon Cemetery was consecrated in 2004 and is located on the eastern side of the Denver Metro area in Aurora, Colorado. The Mortuary has two locations. The first is located on the grounds of Mt. Olivet Cemetery and was opened in 1981. The second was the recent acquisition of Caldwell-Kirk Mortuary. These entities serve the Catholic Community of the Denver metro area and its various parishes, missions, and apostolates and other members of the public regardless of their religious affiliation.
THE POSITION: The Coordinator for In-Person Outreach works in direct collaboration with the Outreach Manager and is responsible for networking with stakeholders, scheduling and organizing outreach opportunities, increasing educational awareness of the organizational mission, and production of materials to support outreach activities .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performing day to day administrative duties as required;
Perform data entry by entering leads and parish surveys using CRM or other software program;
Assisting the Outreach Manager in scheduling, promoting, and facilitating parish and community outreaches;
Help at outreach events as directed by supervisor;
Deliver outreach presentations
Meet with representatives of parish, community groups, and health care institutions about the services and ministry we provide to the greater Denver area;
Coordinate and/or assist with events for outreach and “the Entities” as requested by supervisor;
Communicate via telephone/email with supervisor about tasks;
Work with Archdiocese Marketing and Communications Department and CFCS Marketing;
Any other duties as directed by management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; and, college degree
Relevant work experience

Have a positive and supportive attitude toward the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work;
Refrain from public promotion or approval of any conduct or lifestyle that would reflect discredit or disgrace on, or cause scandal in relationship to, the Archdiocese of Denver, or considered to be in contradiction with Catholic doctrine or morals
Must hold current valid Colorado driver’s license to perform duties;
Have excellent communication skills;
Possess high level of compassion and integrity;
Must possess problem solving skills;
Must be detail oriented and perform duties in a timely and accurate manner;
Must always be professional and a team player;
Ability to network;
Ability to communicate in Spanish (not required).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to operate computer and mouse, copier, printer, and telephone;
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds;
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time;
Ability to work on a computer and look at computer screen for extended periods of time
