Looking to make a difference in the lives of young people and be part of an amazing and growing mental health team? Our newest Adolescent Residential Treatment Center in Greeley, CO, located just outside of Denver, is hiring! This program is serving adolescents experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, and other mental health issues. Students at our Residential Treatment Center live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are key.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, purchasing, and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the students/staff Saturday and Sunday, along with special events such as parent days and tours.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of proper cooking technique
- Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation
- Knowledge of basic nutrition
- Skill in preparation of a variety of foods
- Skill in food presentation
- Ability to adapt to special dietary needs of the students
- Ability to work within the designated budget
Education and Experience
- Minimum of two years of cooking experience required
- Current Food Handlers Permit
- Professional training in culinary arts is preferred but not required
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Able to pass federal background check and drug screen
