EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- AS Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- At least 1 year of work experience in the controls/automation field
- Experience with Ladder Logic
- Mechanical Aptitude
QUALITIES NEEDED:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to multi-task on multiple projects at different stages
- BS Degree in an engineering discipline
- 3-5 or more years work experience in Controls Engineering
- Exp with Allen Bradley family of logic controllers and associated ladder logic, esp RS Logix5000
- Robotics programming, e.g. Fanuc, ABB S3 / S4
- Preparation of system quotations and runoff - lead engineering, SW & process development and programming
- Serve as a technical resource to Customers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers
- Provide consulting, lead engineering of new designs for customers products
- Debugging operation of workcells
- Evaluate, select and develop new applications for emerging technologies
- Responsible for system startups at customer facility
