Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader of process systems and solutions, is currently offering several full-time positions to join our world-class Rotational Engineering program.
Beginning in January 2025 and August 2025, this 12-month accelerated training program will allow you to develop the technical skills to design, install, start up, and maintain some of the best Control Systems in the country.
Based initially in our Schaumburg IL location for the first 10 weeks and then in our Marshalltown/Des Moines IA location for the remaining part of the program, you will participate with a cohort of rising engineers and work with multi-faceted engineering teams across the Midwest.
At the end of the program, you will be given a challenging position serving our customers in the Iowa / Nebraska region.
What you get to do:

• Develop technical skills in automation engineering through a series of dynamic training and development activities, a combination of e-learning, in-person courses and hands-on experiences in the office and at customer sites
• Cooperatively work with local and global engineering teams to design, support and implement projects for some of the most innovative manufacturing companies in the world
• Participate in customer site activities, including control system commissioning and startup, cybersecurity improvements and system modernization

Requirements
Rotational Engineer - Control Systems Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or Associates Degree in related field preferred
• 0-2 years of work experience in a related field
• Ability to maintain permanent employment in the United States
• Ability to work initially in the Schaumburg, IL office for 8-10 weeks, starting in January 2025 or August 2025, and then continue in our Marshalltown/Des Moines Iowa office for the remaining part of the program
• Upon completion of the program, willingness to work out of one of our Novaspect locations in Marshalltown/Des Moines, IA
• A valid U.S. driver's license.

Rotational Engineer - Control Systems Physical requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (i.e. Workstation and Server Class Computers)
• Ability to work extended hours on a computer
• Ability to work in an industrial environment

• Bonus Potential: 5%

$73,000 base salary (up to $76,000 with bonus)
