Job Description
A Senior Controls Design Engineer position is available in central Nebraska.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engineer electrical controls projects, focusing on design through commissioning, primarily in the municipal water and wastewater industry.
- Create electrical schematics for various control panels, motor control centers, power distribution panels, and wiring diagrams.
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project.
- Develop Control Narratives outlining project functions.
- Interpret and adhere to project plans and specifications.
- Provide support to the control panel shop during manufacturing, addressing design-related inquiries.
- Manage project documentation according to company standards and project-specific requirements.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout project design and construction phases.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in a project engineer role or similar, encompassing design, implementation, and project closeout.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a 2-year Associates degree in an Automation-related field (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in electrical CAD Software.
- Experience in project management, including initial concept/proposal, design, implementation, and closeout.
