Description

In this role your responsibilities will be of a technical nature with decisions made within the limits of general practices, policies and standards. Your work will involve complex manufacturing problems including the need to root cause and follow issues to resolve. You will be responsible for equipment related to the manufacturing process. You will required to use your independent discernment. Your responsibility may involve training others and assigning work to a small group of employees.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze and implement product or machinery designs for the best method for manufacturing processes
  • Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in assigned area
  • Direct the design, development, and/or improvement of manufacturing processes for assigned area
  • Keep regular contact with partners outside the work group
  • Provide direction to small group of technical employees
  • Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment

Additional Description

  • Technical Degree

  • 4-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in long term project planning

  • Previous leadership experience in managing groups

The role will include relocation benefit for candidate that lives 50 or more miles from location. This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report on a full-time basis.
