Controller
The duties of this position require the candidate to report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters on a weekly basis therefore the chosen candidate will need to reside in or relocate to the Metro Atlanta area.

Team Finance works diligently to ensure the financial management and wellbeing of NCCPA, the nccPA Health Foundation and the PA History Society. We are a team of accurate, highly organized, behind the scenes, documentation driven, multi-taskers with a great attention to detail.

As the Controller, you will manage all aspects of the Finance and Accounting department and provide accounting support for PA Health Foundation and PA History Society
How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements; enforce adherence to requirements; file required financial reports, and advise management on needed actions.
- Manage and maintain all accounting records in accordance with GAAP
- With IT department support: Evaluate, configure, implement, and maintain accounting software systems including payment gateways and processors, expense reporting systems, project allocation and budgeting software.
- Maximize return and limit risk on cash by monitoring bank and investment balances and advising VP of Finance and Corporate Services.
- Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
- Manage semi-monthly payroll process.
- Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Maintain finance and accounting staff job results by coaching, counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting , Finance or other relevant degree
- Five years or more of leadership and management experience directly managing staff.
- Seven to ten years of controller or progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, budgeting and finance software
- Highly developed time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners including staff, managers, leadership, vendors, and other working partners
- Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
- Master’s degree in accounting
- CPA preferred
