Salary1st shift hours: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise.
- Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
- Move product from staging and/or storage areas into loading trailers.
- Move trailers as needed.
- Special projects as needed.
- Keeping a clean warehouse.
- Organize inventory (replenish home locations and consolidate partials).
- Help Production as needed.
- Rework products due to products not moving or damaged.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Must have the ability to work on your own with little or no supervision.
- Must be detail oriented and pay close attention to accuracy
- Able to work outside of normal workday, with good attendance and punctuality.
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be proficient in forklift operation.
- Must be computer literate.
This is a fast paced manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (hot in summer, cold in winter). Employees are on their feet the duration of the shift minus their breaks.
