Overview:
- Responsible to publish timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Responsible for all financial audits. (Financial Statements, 401K, Worker Comp, etc.)
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management team
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Contribute to the production of the annual budget and forecasts
- Supervision of the accounting staff.
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Monitor 401k transactions. (audit compliance)
- Monitor credit limits for customers
- Provide for a system of management cost reports
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
- ROI analysis for new assets purchases over $25,000
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Percentage of Completion Accounting experience required.
- Governmental costing - a definite plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
