As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. ```Responsibilities```
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Monitor cash flow, manage cash flow projections, and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience with governmental accounting practices and regulations
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Excellent account reconciliation skills

- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards and practices
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
- Experience in regulatory reporting
