Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial accounting and reporting processes across global subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with external consultants for financial statement preparation.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate with third-party consultants to manage local tax compliance within each country.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior management, supporting decision-making and long-term planning.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation.
- Partner with the Director of Business Operations on treasury functions, including cash management, forecasting, and investment strategies.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, lenders, and other financial institutions.
- Implement financial forecasting models to assess business performance and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate and recommend opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities, to support business objectives and ensure compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a global multi-subsidiary environment.
- Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite software highly preferred.
- Experience in a global multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environment is preferred.
