CONTROLLER
Semperit America's is seeking an experienced, hands-on Financial Controller or senior business analyst for the US site located in Newnan, Georgia. This individual will support US Management with relevant reports and analysis to steer the business. They will monitor financial health of the site, challenge management in terms of financial KPI’s, help implement cost efficient measures and force business growth. They will prepare financial planning and forecasting for the site along with regular reporting for the Group and Management.
Key Responsibilities:
General & Organization
- SAP BYD finance key user
- Help to establish and standardize processes in SAP BYD (i.e., valuation of produced goods, order to cash process, purchase to pay process, workflows, etc.)
- Set up reports, queries in SAP BYD & ERP-Profiles used for business purposes
- Help other business users to resolve issues, training others in finance as needed
- Business Warehouse (BW)
- Act as first point of contact with regard to BW, having main responsibility for maintenance of master data and mapping tables
- Further integrate SAP BYD data in BW
- Reporting & Forecasting
- Support finance team during monthly closing and preparation of monthly reporting package
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports
- Support Finance Manager and US Management with ad-hoc reporting requirements
- Support US Management Team in providing reliable financial data in a timely manner
- Supporting the US Management by reporting, analyzing and challenging business developments (of sales, operations, etc.)
- Support US Management to steer results of business units in order to optimize the financial performance (sales, EBITDA, working capital, cash-flow, etc.)
Management and Cost Accounting
- Management reporting and performance management
- Provide business specific detailed reporting (in addition to group reporting, i.e., business specific product cost calculation and pricing)
- Support US Management Team in monitoring of financial health on site level
- Cost Accounting for production
- Focus on production cost accounting e.g. standard / actual costing, variances, cost of quality in SAP BYD and ERP-Profiles
- Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare cost center and financial planning and forecasts on local level
- Prepare business specific planning reports and presentations
- Review, analyze, challenge and comment planning and forecasting results
CAPEX controlling
- Calculation of business cases, preparation of presentation, and regular reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance and/or technical degree plus additional post graduate business/management education (MBA preferred)
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
- 3 - 5 years work experience as controller or business analyst
- Highly skilled in controlling and advanced knowledge in finance management
- Excellent analytical ability with demonstrated Excel skills.
- Data warehouse experience, and good understanding of process management
- SAP BYD experience is preferred. Must have a strong desire to understand and improve ERP Systems.
- Must be logical thinking, very structured with a solution-oriented mindset, conceptual work style, and achievement-oriented personality, to ensure a cohesive and collaborative finance team
