ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and oversee month end close process.
- Monitor, oversee and review preparation of internal financial statements.
- Coordinate and oversee annual financial audit with outside auditors
- Preparation of the monthly borrowing base report.
- Administration of company credit cards.
- Prepare and submit advance and paydown requests and direct communication with banking officers.
- Lead team members through strategic planning.
- Responsible for establishing and evaluating customer credit; initiating holds on customer accounts; initiating and approving wire transfers; and approving positive pay exceptions and ACH debits.
- Enforces and adheres to the Food Safety and Quality Program(s) as well as following GMPs with the focus on delivering safe quality foods to our customers.
- Other duties, as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the responsibilities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit & collections, and all accounting functions.
- Responsible for managing and supervising 5 direct reports and oversee supervision of another 4 indirect reports.
- Approval of time-off requests, expense reports and team activities for the 5 supervised employees.
- Delegate new tasks/processes to appropriate employees within the department.
- Create new ways of streamlining regular tasks to allow department to run more efficiently.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal and state laws, legal documents, safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
- Strong ability to communicate with others with written and verbal communication.
QUANTITATIVE SKILLS
- Strong quantitative analytical skills, including the ability to perform advanced calculations.
- Expert level familiarity with Excel and ability to manipulate and process vast amounts of data.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
