As a Control Manager - Support and Reporting Specialist within the Business and Control teams, you will be tasked with fostering collaboration and executing strong analysis. Your role will involve managing multiple levels of responsibility, with a particular focus on assisting Control Managers in supporting Fraud Customer Protection Services (FCPS) and Collections Operations. We are seeking an team member with robust collaborative skills and a knack for analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, as well as with other teams within the firm
- Foster an environment of process improvement efforts to drive consistent, innovative, and tactical strategies among the broader controls team
- Prepare client-specific reporting
- Drive the team to assure a focus on quality of service through team’s consistent implementation of Deep Dive and Independent reviews to ensure consistency and quality throughout the area
- Prioritize tasks and assignments to meet deadlines, and escalate concerns to direct manager
- Provide assistance to department management in the development and publishing of trending analysis, and reporting
- Build and maintain a client focused organization by partnering with senior leaders across the larger Control Management and CCB organizations that balances the needs of the teams while driving a strong controls framework
- Manage deliverables and projects in support of CCB Controls initiatives
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Strong analytical, prioritization, organizational, and time management skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving / issue resolution skills
- Team player with the ability to work productively within a group, with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient/Expert using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent job experience in the financial services industry, comprised of 4+ years’ experience in banking
- Flexible in nature with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing team environment
