Contracts Specialist

As a Contract Specialist, you will help our growing team to streamline and optimize our contract management process.  As we continue to bring on new clients and vendors, we are looking for a detail-oriented contract specialist to own the entire contract lifecycle for our customer, vendor and partner agreements. You will spearhead the selection and implementation of a new CLM process to ensure consistency at every step and efficiency. 

What You’ll Do   

• Manage entire contract management process by reviewing, revising, and managing agreements and contract renewals 
• Maintain internal company contractual records for accuracy and completeness including auditing legacy contract records 
• Spearhead contract management process improvements and offer CLM system recommendations  
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Implementation teams as well as outside Legal counsel to ensure an effective contract process with an emphasis on customer relationships and satisfaction 
• Assist Sales and Customer Success teams with new contracts, amendments and contract renewal process 
• Other related tasks as needed 
     

Who You Are    

• 3 - 5+ years of experience working with legal administration and operations 
• Experience working with, assessing and implementing a new CLM system 
• Experience managing and/or drafting contracts, with the ability to recognize Terms and Conditions 
• Comfortable working with Salesforce 
• Track record of successfully identifying and resolving contractual issues in a sales-driven environment 
• Contract experience within in a Software as a Service or Subscription technology related company 
• Detail, process, and service-oriented 
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of team  
     

Working Location: Remote OR in Santa Cruz County, CA office  

  
Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this role is $80,000-110,000. There is also an opportunity for a discretionary annual bonus.
