Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working in technology and Public Sector within Contract Administration, Legal, or Similar functions.
- Experience working with federal government contracting (e.g., FAR) and experience during all contract lifecycle phases.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in collaborating with executive level cross-functional leaders.
- Experience in two or more of the following: Public Sector legal negotiations, Process improvement and design or Public Sector Deal Desk.
- Industry experience working with US Public Sector or IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations.
- Ability to read and understand contractual terms and experience in redlining and negotiating agreements.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills with knowledge of the key business issues in government contracts.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with ambiguous problems; resourceful problem solving. Comfort with data modeling, reporting and excellent communication skills.

The Contracts and Business Operations (CABO) Contracts and Deal Execution (CDE) team is instrumental in structuring, negotiating, executing, and managing contracts for GPS. As a CDE member, you will have the primary responsibility of managing all phases (Strategizing, Planning, Managing Escalations, Negotiating, and Closing) of the contracting process. This role has a specific focus on negotiating and contract drafting. As such, you will be responsible for owning the contract negotiation process, including contract markups and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure contractual language is acceptable to GPS risk profile. In this role as CDE Specialist, you'll help strategize, negotiate, and manage direct customer and channel led contracts within GPS’ Federal Civilian portfolio.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Apply Public Sector and cloud industry expertise to provide contract support.
- Manage vendors and contractors through full lifecycle (e.g., identification, contracting, onboarding, purchasing, invoicing, deliverables).
- Assist in managing contracts with US Federal end customers including task orders, billing, invoicing, and compliance processes. Supporting the drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating a variety of contracts (nondisclosure and teaming agreements; government contracts; subcontracts; consulting agreements; master services agreements, SOW's and vendor agreements).
- Support the negotiation and administration of contracts from proposal to close-out including contract development, administration, tracking, analysis.
- Support proposals with emphasis on risk identification/mitigation and reviews of contractual documents to ensure the protection of contractual posture, satisfaction of government specifications and requirements, and adherence to company policy.
