Magnify is seeking strong, experienced healthcare call center professionals to join our RVA client's REMOTE Customer Service and Support Team!

Our client is a well-known and respected organization! We, at Magnify are proud to have partnered with them in offering opportunities for full-time, career-oriented roles in the Richmond area.

Educational Requirements:

  • Successful completion of high school with diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of an associate, bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience in a healthcare-related field.

Minimum Required Job Experience (number of years needed to perform the role):

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare contact center or service-related area.
  • Background in healthcare with knowledge of post-acute care experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Medicare claims.
  • Experience with insurance products, including Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, Medicare, and Medicaid, is desirable.
  • Availability for various schedules covering operating hours from 8 AM to 11 PM EST.
  • Flexibility to adapt to variations in work volume and schedule, occasionally requiring extended working hours.
  • Potential for rotating weekend and holiday coverage, with certain postings requiring regular weekend coverage based on business and client needs.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in a call center, Customer Service, and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Provision of excellent Customer Service to clients and providers, ensuring a clear understanding of resolutions or action plans.
  • Ability to navigate multiple platforms containing provider data, member information, and authorizations.
  • Daily focus on achieving productivity standards, with a willingness to recommend innovative approaches to enhance performance.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, across in-person, email, and phone interactions with customers, co-workers, and leadership.
  • Critical-thinking and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Autonomy to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to undertake special projects or additional duties as assigned.
  • Proficiency in various applications and software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, demonstrating the ability to utilize all resources to support the manual functionality of the system.
