This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Operational Support Division, Aviation Division.
This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as business planner and advisor under the general supervision of the Administrative Officer on contracts which are heavily supported by contractor personnel. The incumbent plans, analyzes and implements the operational and procedural programs associated with overseeing the contracting and procurement of items.Qualifications:Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. To qualify for the GS-9 position: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level or pay band in the Federal service) that includes performing the following duties: 1) Monitoring of contractual performance related to such areas as delivery, cost, amount of progress or advance payments; 2) Conducting contract reviews to evaluate performance; and, 3) Preparing program-related correspondence, reports, and written materials associated with established organizational programs, policies and/or operations.

Degree: I have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

Combination of Experiences and Education: A combination of graduate level education and specialized experience as described on the vacancy announcement, which is equivalent to the work of the position and is equivalent to the GS- 07 level in the Federal service. This education and experience meet 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
To qualify for the GS-11 position: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level or pay band in the Federal service) that includes performing the following duties: 1) Handling the evaluation and monitoring of contractual performance related to such areas as delivery, cost, amount of progress or advance payments; 2) Conducting research to provides recommendations to leadership for improvements to the operational and procedural programs associated with overseeing the contracting and procurement of items; and, 3) Preparing program-related correspondence, reports, and written materials associated with established organizational programs, policies and/or operations.

Degree: I have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
Combination of Experiences and Education: A combination of graduate level education and specialized experience which is equivalent to the work of the position and equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service. This education and experience meet 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
