Contracting Manager | Hybrid

What you do:

The Contracting Manager will support and manage non IT insurance categories to accomplish sourcing projects that range from simple to complex, from start to finish, including – sourcing requests validation per client guidelines, requirements analysis for competitive events ,collaborating with client requesters to close any data gaps, prepare and publish the package to the identified suppliers, following up with suppliers to ensure participation, and summarizing proposals back to the requestor, and working with the  legal team to ensure an agreement that holds suppliers accountable for performance is performed. You will report into the Senior Director.

·         Establish and maintain client relationships through all levels of a matrixed organization

·         Partner with clients to ensure their requirements are incorporated in sourcing strategies and corresponding supplier statements of work.

·         Complete financial and market analysis of supplier products and services.

·         Identify opportunities, issues, market conditions, and economic indicators, including upcoming contract expiration, and action plans, to realize cost reductions and sourcing opportunities.

·         Lead cross-functional teams in the development of quantitative and qualitative criteria for supplier selection

·         Negotiate contract terms and conditions and pricing, establishing service level agreements that hold suppliers accountable for performance.

·         Coach Departments on vendor management of their suppliers, and support resolution of supplier performance issues.

·          Support continuous improvement of policies, procedures and processes.

What you bring:

·         6-7 years’ experience required: Financial Services Sourcing/Procurement/Contracting experience, knowledge of HR, Marketing, Operations, Facilities and professional service contract types, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, and contract law.

·         Four-year degree required: Bachelor's Degree or CPM Certificate or equivalent experience
