Job description

Overview:
Founded in 1978, AeroTurbine has been dedicated to developing and providing the highest level of turbine engine and accessory overhaul, repair, and testing capabilities since they began serving their first customer, the U.S. Air Force. Based at California's Stockton Metropolitan Airport, adjacent to its 9,600-ft. runway, Aero Turbine’s 1.5-acre property includes a more than 40,000 sq. ft. purpose-built maintenance facility. Aero Turbine’s engine test cell, rated for engines up to 35,000 lbs. of thrust, is robust enough to handle fifth generation military jet engines.
AeroTurbine offers complete overhaul, repair, and testing capabilities for more than 20 turbine engine models and their accessories, including powerplants from General Electric, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, Allison, Teledyne Continental, and Magellan. The company’s FAA authorized Part 145 Repair Station has a complete engine shop, machine shop, and accessory and welding shops, equipped with the state-of-the-art tooling and instruments required to provide superior aftermarket services. Aero Turbine’s capabilities include inspect cores, test components, balance turbines and compressors, analyze metals, calibrate fluid flows, and fabricate, mill, and treat parts. The company currently has revenues of over $22M with 146 employees, the majority of which are Technicians and Engineers.
AeroTurbine sets the standard for the overhaul and repair of turbine engine components, the most critical parts of jet powerplants. The company holds authorizations, tools and equipment to provide turnkey service on compressors, shafts, nozzles, burners, and all other components for more than 20 turbine engine models including J85, J79, and J69. The company also offers NDT (nondestructive testing) for components and ancillary services including compressor and turbine balancing, and hot zone and core inspections.
Aero Turbine’s top customers are the US Air Force, US Navy, and the US Army as well as international departments of defense, including Chile, Pakistan and others. The company works very closely with the USAF through Tinker AFB for direct sales to the USAF, as well as for FMS/FMF/DCS to international customers. AeroTurbine is slated for significant future growth with users of the J85 engine through FMS/FMF/DCS with the governments/defense departments of countries in South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
