Job Description:
  • Assist Director of Value Stream & Sustainability with oversite of Productivity Savings Projects at Corporate Customers.
  • Actively work with Food Safety Specialists to make sure valid CI Projects are identified at customer locations
  • Monitor, track and provide reporting back to Corporate Director of Value Stream & Sustainability
  • Verify project values entered-into Infobase for corporate customers are quantified and information is input correctly in correct categories
  • Actively work with Food Safety Specialists taking the necessary steps to move the projects along to completion
  • Go to sites as needed to assist Food Safety Specialists with identifying and collecting necessary savings data for CI projects
  • Assist Food Safety Specialist in creating standard operating procedures following Lean/CI guidelines as necessary
  • Create Business Case for the Identified projects and work with Food Safety Specialists to get site to sign off when completed
  • Conduct conference calls with Food Safety Specialists to review and discuss current and possible CI project status on a monthly basis
  • Prepare reports for Managers to support Business review meetings as requested
  • Assist RVP’s with new customer start up process as needed
  • Assist Director of Value Stream & Sustainability with creating material and providing Lean Training to Food Safety Specialists and/or Customers
  • Assist with Sustainability initiatives at customer sites as needed
  • Assist with CIP Assessments, Audits to provide efficiency gains at customer sites when needed
Requirements for this position include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Process, Biological or Chemical Engineering and/or Business preferred but not required
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Continuous Improvement or Quality Sanitation role with Food company background
  • Minimum of five years’ experience operating, monitoring and/or troubleshooting CIP Systems
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Continuous Improvement or Quality Sanitation role with Food company background
  • Minimum of five years’ experience operating, monitoring and/or troubleshooting CIP Systems
  • Above average skill set in CIP and CIP ancillary equipment, including system design
  • Above average skill set in CIP programming and ability to decipher CIP PIN CHARTS.
  • Above average skill set in parameters that contribute to an effective CIP event in multiple food categories
  • Ability to conduct assessments on SSOP’s, sanitation equipment functionality and food safety risks
  • Lean Principles Certification/Experience or ability to gain these techniques required
  • High level of computer proficiency with all common applications including Word, Adobe, Excel and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to manage time
  • Ability to take direction and work remotely without direct supervisio
