Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Senior Manager to lead our Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma) program at Mars Global Shared Services. This role is critical for enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance teams globally. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing the Continuous Improvement lifecycle, from capturing ideas to delivering benefits, as well as fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout our organization
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience leading a Continuous Improvement or operational excellence program
- Track record of delivering measurable improvements leveraging Continuous Improvement tools
- Familiarity with improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Conduct thorough assessments of regional processes and operations. Utilize these insights to build a cohesive and effective global improvement program that can be effectively deployed across all regions
- Collaborate with various operation and leadership teams to generate and maintain a robust pipeline of ideas for operational improvements. This will involve encouraging idea generation and ensuring a steady flow of potential improvements for evaluation and implementation.
- Work closely with Global Process Owners to prioritize and select the most impactful ideas for implementation. This requires a strong ability to assess the potential impact and feasibility of each idea
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Continuous Improvement efforts and regularly report on progress to leadership teams across
- Lead the prioritization process, ensuring that selected ideas are aligned with organizational goals and resources. Oversee the implementation of these improvements, tracking their effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.
- Act as a champion for Continuous Improvement within the organization. This involves educating and motivating teams across the company to adopt a mindset focused on ongoing optimization and efficiency
