Position Description:
The purpose of the Content Writer position is to grow our brand, enhance search engine optimization, generate leads and establish our company as a thought-leader in the industry. This role will play a crucial part in crafting engaging, informative and well-researched content on our website and other content platforms while strategically integrating SEO techniques.
Major Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:
· Research, validate and develop clear and compelling content that adheres to required branding and style guidelines
· Incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) best practices in all digital materials produced
· Ensure that all grammar, spelling, flow, tone, and style are appropriate for each project
· Utilize content management tools to prepare materials
· Manage content management platform/intranet for sales/marketing alignment

Specific Responsibilities:
· Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content
· Develop content for blogs, articles, email campaigns, case studies, video scripts, infographics, social media, company website and other assets
· Conduct keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic and conversions to the company website
· Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
· Develop and coordinate content research with cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support
· Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Proficiency in SEO techniques, including keywork research, on-page optimization and link building
· Experience with conducting subject matter expert interviews – both internally and externally
· Exceptional organization and time management skills
· Excellent oral and written communication abilities
· Demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft products
· Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
· Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
· Portfolio of written or published articles showcasing both SEO-driven content and general writing skills
· BrightEdge platform experience preferred
· Drupal experience preferred
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
· Two to four years of experience in content writing, with a strong emphasis on SEO-focused content creation required
