The position will report to the Director, Content Strategy & Operations
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analytics to inform and refine creative content strategies, ensuring alignment with audience engagement and platform performance.
  • Manage and optimize both organic and paid social media campaigns, leveraging data to maximize impact.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of sponsored content, ensuring all materials meet partners' expectations and are data-informed.
  • Provide real-time content support during the Oscars, with a focus on leveraging analytics for live posting decisions.
  • Work on-site at various Oscar-related events, contributing to the strategy and execution of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, turning data into actionable insights for ongoing strategy development.
  • Manage the calendar for department head/full team as needed.

Position Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital content strategy, with a strong focus on analytics and social media management.
  • Demonstrated ability in using data and analytics to inform and improve content strategy and creative execution.
  • Deep understanding of the intricacies of different digital platforms and the ability to tailor content accordingly.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and responding effectively under the pressure of live events.
  • A passion for film and a comprehensive understanding of the film industry, preferably with knowledge of Oscars history.
  • Desirable: Experience with email marketing, paid media campaigns, and strategic high-level planning.

If hired, we require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed as determined on a case-by-case basis.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $30.00. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
