Senior Content Strategist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct content audits and evaluate existing experience
• Create content strategy based on business requirements, including information architecture and user flows
• Work with leadership, UX team, and project management to establish sprint deliverables
• Produce microcopy including instructions, menus, labels, and alerts. Other content may include landing pages, emails, and site documentation.
• Research, evangelize, and follow best practices for content strategy and UX writing
• Collaborate closely with designers
• Track down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
• Build alignment between UX team members, product managers, and developers

Your background:

• 5-7+ years of experience as a UX writer, information architect, or Content Strategist
• A portfolio showcasing clear, concise UX writing and accurate, engaging informational content
• Successful software and service design projects
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Self-directed but enjoys collaborating too
• Used to hitting deadlines and helping manage expectations for your deliverables
• Can collaborate with interaction designers to create user flows and other pre-design artifacts

You have:

• A portfolio with a wide variety of UX writing examples from menus and web pages to UX microcopy
• Experience leading large, complex online content projects
• Experience addressing feedback from legal and compliance
• Experience meeting grade-level and accessibility requirements
• Experience working on software and service design, delivering content on a variety of devices
• An English or Journalism degree (desirable but not required)
• Interest in site metrics and content testing
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Invision
• Self-motivation but are also passionate about collaborating with designers, product managers, and developers

Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
