This is a remote, work-from-home position. We will consider applicants that reside in the following states: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, Texas, and Utah.

Position Summary of the Content Marketing Developer & Copywriter:
The Content Marketing Developer and Copywriter will create compelling and motivating copy and content for outbound email and text messaging campaigns. Develops copy for website pages and various landing pages that represent the university’s mission to liberate the innate greatness in people.
Responsibilities of the Content Marketing Developer & Copywriter:
- Develops content (graphics and captions) for Bryan University’s Marketing Content Calendar focusing on organic content. This includes assets for BU’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages and the Bryan Newsroom. Content includes but isn’t limited to holidays to cover, SEO articles to publish for the month, pertinent graduation communications, BU press releases, and writing copy for additional BU Newsroom content.
- Performs daily maintenance of social media comments and schedules all social media posts for all platforms for Bryan University, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Researches new SEO article topics and keywords, proposes topics, and writes monthly pieces for Bryan University and subsidiary locations.
- Conducts monthly analysis on SEO metrics for BU and subsidiary locations.
- Writes content for the Bryan Newsroom on a regular basis, including but not limited to announcements, awards, departmental requests, and all other content that falls into the Marketing Content Calendar.
- Conducts interviews with graduates and employees to write monthly stories for Bryan University’s Newsroom, in addition to subsidiary locations.
- Assists with gathering statistics, competitive analysis, research, and collecting assets (photos, links, statistics, etc.) and more for projects, redesigns, and other various items.
- Works with the Director of Compliance to keep the Bryan University website up to date with any catalog changes that occur.
- Implements and maintains a review strategy on Google, Facebook and GradReports.
- Produces various reports weekly and assists with monthly marketing procedures as needed.
Requirements of the Content Marketing Developer & Copywriter:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, English, Journalism, Communications or similar field.
- 3+ years experienced copywriter with direct response writing, long- and short-form article/blog writing and editing background.
- Experience with WordPress preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make and adapt to change quickly.
- Experience working with various other personalities in a team environment.
- Desire to contribute to the University’s mission and influence others through a positive attitude.
- A desire to continuously learn and develop skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in navigating through a PC.
- Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, contact management database systems, Gmail, Zoom, etc.
- Ability to sit for six to eight hours.
