Content Design Intern ('24)

Tinder interns gain a meaningful experience connecting with their mentor and managers, participating in large-scale projects, and collaborating with other interns in our flagship Tindership hackathon. You'll join an inclusive workplace and gain real-world experiences and exposure to Tinder's culture.

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. The position will be located in Los Angeles, CA.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate on the development, implementation and  functionality of Tinder's newest features and platform architecture
• Build robust, lasting, and scalable products that serve millions of users
• Work on systems that handle billions of data events a day
• Leverage large scale multi-channel communications to keep users well-informed (push notifications, emails, in-app messaging, and more)
• Write unit and integration tests 
• Participate in the annual Tindership Hackathon, presenting with your team to the entire Tinder team and panel of executives.

What we're looking for:

• A student currently enrolled in a UX-related program or passionate about Product Design, UX, or HCI
• Previous experience with UX research, UX writing, Product Marketing, or Product Design
• Detail-oriented and has the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• UX Writing/Content Design portfolio or work samples including, but not limited to: user interface copy, copy for UX flows, microcopy, in-app user education, or general in-app content

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Figma
• A passion for crafting products for a global audience: not just through translation, but reimagining products so that they're effective across world cultures

$47 - $47 an hour

Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Los Angeles. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
