Content Coordinator

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Content Coordinator with a major corporation in Glendale, CA. This assignment is Hybrid - Mon-Thurs in office - Fri Remote. There will be Overtime.

Pay Rate: $35-$39/hr DOE

Description:

The Content Coordinator will work closely with members of the team and several divisions of The Walt Disney Company to create and share stories, news, events, and more with members: The Official Fan Club via .com, social media channels, and the quarterly publication.
• Write copy supporting social content
• Respond to breaking news and viral moments quickly and relevantly
• Film, edit, source audio, and route approvals for vertical video content
• Create custom content (videos, posts, editorial copy) for sponsorship campaigns
• Capture content and post live at major events, premieres, and press days
• Source images and video for day-to-day social content
• Moderate comments sections of social platforms
• Suggest social strategy based on analytic performance and trends
• Pull post analytics as requested
• Research, interview, and route approvals for .com articles
• Respond to breaking news and viral moments with editorial content
• Pitch and write timely and relevant content for .com
Basic Qualifications:
• 2-4 years exp
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proven skills in editorial research, reporting, and writing to engage and entertain readers
• Well-developed writing and grammatical skills including writing and proofreading
• Experience in in-person and remote interviewing talent, creatives, and other subjects
• Ability to work under pressure and within quick deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• High sense of responsibility and confidentiality
• Genuine interest in the Walt Disney Company history including films, animation, television, and theme parks as well as realms that may be new to you
• Knowledge of social platforms and best practices including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working on website and print publication content
• Knowledge of AP style
• Experience in posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization
• Photography experience
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS
Required Education:
Graduate - bach dgr-Mrktg, Comm, Dig Media or related
