GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Consumer Lending Program Manager is responsible for advancing Consumer Lending Programs, products, and campaigns to promote loan growth and member wallet share by designing strategies that are on the leading edge in the marketplace and provide value to our members. This position is also responsible for ensuring the Consumer Lending product suite is aligned with organizational digital strategies.
This role will also drive implementation, monitoring, and analysis of approved initiatives through collaboration among required internal resources. including: program research and; managing related software integrations and accompanied projects, creating key point indicators, and coordinating communications between retail, marketing, and learning/development.
The Program Manager will consistently utilize data to drive recommendations and will need to be comfortable creating the analytics required.
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
- Create and drive loan acquisition campaigns through traditional marketing activities and through digital platforms.
- Propose Lending Program enhancements that align with market and are identified as needs from our members.
- Present thorough proposals and business cases to executive leadership for all assigned projects and initiatives.
- Utilize various data sets to identify opportunities in the market including data from internal members, competition, portfolio, and current product performance for proposals.
- Create new loan programs and strategies, with a focus on digital seamless delivery to advance long term loan growth goals. Own a Digital Roadmap to advance long term lending goals
- Collaborate with cross functional departments and PMO on new innovations, system implementations and upgrades, and process improvements.
- Perform vendor management oversight and risk assessments, including vendor due diligence as needed.
- Work closely with Corporate Compliance and Risk Management to ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment, and continuing vendor monitoring is complete.

- Perform planning activities for vendor audit projects, based on risk and objectives to ensure their effectiveness.
- Document business processes impacting vendor relations and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate effectively, conduct action planning and hold vendors accountable for established goals/standards and service levels.
- Assist with budgeting process, strategic planning, and matrix recommendations.
- Manage training materials and adherence to ensure a high level of vendor performance and consistency. May provide internal and external training to support vendor relationships.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control appropriate to the position.

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:
- Effective oral and written communication skills required to fulfill job duties.
- Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an online computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, facsimile machine and telephone.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree desired, Master's Degree considered a plus. Equivalent education and work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
2. EXPERIENCE:
10+ years' experience in Consumer Lending, or financial services industry including a minimum of five years' of progressive leadership experience.
Three years of experience in the analysis and reporting of statistical data.
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Expertise in driving campaign strategies within the financial or fintech space.
- Advanced business case and proposal writing skills
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of loan acquisition by mining data through internal data sets and credit bureaus
- Experience developing Lending Program strategies to increase production metrics while providing an exceptional experience to members and employees.
- Requires broad understanding of lending products, marketing and communications, consumer experience, operations, and technology.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced MS Excel functions like formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Experience with LoansPQ, CUDL, DocuSign, CuneXus are preferred.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, deliver high quality results, and demonstrate accountability and ownership of work and actions.
- Highly detailed and organized.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously with the ability to adapt to changes and prioritize and manage competing demands.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to critically evaluate user requests from the underlying true needs and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills required, including maintaining positive relationships with system stakeholders, providers, and key internal business partners.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
- Corrected vision within the normal range.
- A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
- Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
- Occasional travel to business related conferences and seminars.
