We are currently looking for a Construction Supervisor to work in the Platteville, CO.

ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:
- Coordinate construction activities at a local level. Directly manage construction vendors and support services.
- Represent the Asset team in construction-related correspondence externally
- Understand the facilities materials and design that best support the Asset team.
- Maintain project schedule, implementation, compliance to design and commissioning.
- Project cost tracking and reporting as needed.
- Coordinate general repairs & maintenance of facilities or wells
QualificationsProfessional/Technical Knowledge:
- Candidates should have at least 3+ years of construction experience
- Familiar with Upstream oil and gas facilities operation and maintenance
- Knowledgeable in Construction Industry Standards and best practices
- Familiar with Project Management Principles
- Basic understanding of automation and electrical design principles.
- Understanding of PSSRs and MOCs.
- Extensive expertise in safe work systems.
- Extensive expertise of construction codes and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of material specifications and application
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines
Skills & Competencies:
- Pipeline: Materials, Pressure drop calculations, Design, Installation, Estimation
- Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors, VRUs): Materials, Design, Installation, Estimation
- Surface Equipment (Vessels, Tanks, Headers): Materials, Design, Installation, Estimation
- Basic understanding of automation and electrical design principles
- Fundamental understanding of MOCs, HAZOPs and PSSRs
- Extensive expertise in safe work systems.
- Expertise of construction specifications, codes and practices.
- Awareness training for Welding inspection and NDE
- Ability to understand basic welding procedures, and qualifications.
- Ability to develop/review Lifting plans for critical lifts
- Familiar with material handling/staging principles
- Evaluate manpower loading plans
- Manage construction contractors
- Demonstrated construction management skills including material & labor planning, cost & schedule estimating, contracting, cost & progress tracking and management, documentation, post appraisal and process improvement
- Demonstrated high level of effectiveness working in a collaborative teamwork environment
- Demonstrated effective communication in written and verbal forms; adept at selection and use of appropriate communication techniques (e-mail, fax, phone, cell phone, Internet, etc.)
- Working knowledge of oil & gas production operations, associated pipeline systems and surface equipment, and demonstrated ability to integrate construction activities with ongoing operating activities.
Professional / Technical Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications:
- Understanding of industry welding requirements and procedures as well as non-destruction evaluation (NDE) methodologies
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office software including MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel.
