Title: Construction Safety Manager
One of the largest Software Corporations
Work Permit: US Citizen, Green Card (only on W2)
6-12 month contract
Job Description:
This resource will also potentially be needed periodically to respond to a site to intervene when there is an increase in safety incidents. Currently the DCX Construction Safety Managers respond to the site to perform a “deep dive” and help facilitate an improvement strategy. A senior level Safety Manager may be requested to respond on their behalf if they are unable due to other conflicts.
The DCX organization is also in the process of EHS program development. The EHS Advisors on the individual sites will play a role in the development of baseline regulatory procedures. This Senior Safety Manager may be utilized to support the coordination and implementation of these SMPs and / or to support other high level programmatic procedures and policies.
In addition to the anticipated tasks identified above, the Senior Safety Manager will be required to participate in the following:
? Initial orientation in Redmond, WA with all site EHS Managers and Project Executive.
? initial Project Executive – Safety Manager “workshop” to present objectives and program and strategy.
? Periodic Safety Management – Project Executive meetings every 2-3 months. Most of these will be held in Redmond but could be at the various job sites.
Qualifications:
Must have previously worked in the Software Industry for this role.
Must have PPE and technology by staffing company
Must sign a NDA before being onboarded for the role
-10+ years experience
-Safety engineering or similar- bachelors degree
-experience with working with Safety Managers in the software industry
-Quality of work, meeting deadlines
