What You'll Be Doing:

As a Construction Project Supervisor, you will oversee field production on smaller, less complex, shorter-duration projects independently. This role involves hands-on construction work, and depending on the project's scale, you may work directly under a Project Superintendent. To qualify, you must have the experience and expertise to coordinate basic projects immediately, as this isn't a position for gradual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify project constraints and communicate to resolve issues
• Develop schedules for internal use and subcontractor distribution, updated weekly to guide the project
• Maintain customer communication
• Supervise subcontractors and in-house labor
• Document field production activities
• Coordinate and manage client expectations
• Uphold J2 quality control standards
• Promote proactive and safe working practices for a secure work environment
• Demonstrate positive leadership towards all project stakeholders

Required Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• 2-4 years of prior Construction Project experience from initiation to completion, including responsibility for scheduling, quality control and subcontractor coordination
• Proficiency in light carpentry (rough & finish), drywall and painting
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint), experience using Procore is a plus

• Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must have reliable vehicle for frequent travel (job-related mileage will be reimbursed)
• Must have clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background screening
• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders
• College degree preferred but not mandatory
• OSHA 10 hour certification preferred but not mandatory
