Construction Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Complete onsite responsibility for a project.

· Responsibility for performance of sub-contractors and vendors.

· Coordinates with all pertinent public agencies during the course of construction to comply with all on and off-site work.

· Monitors and manages project construction and financial closeouts to ensure proper documentation from all applicable agencies/parties.

· Works with multiple tenants before and during construction to choose, build and finalize finishes and coordinate equipment and other specialty items.

· Coordinates delivery of related finish materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment.

In addition to being an experienced Project Manager, he or she should exhibit the following qualities:

· Proficient at plan reading and material take offs.

· Good interpersonal, oral and written skills, a high level of professionalism and a team-oriented mindset.

· Exceptional problem solving, prioritization, organizational and time management skills.

· An organized approach to work and project details.

· Ability to deal with unforeseen challenges and a variety of personality types.

· Ability to work with technical and non-technical tenants.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3-5+ years of experience in Construction Project management or superintendent roles.

· OSHA 30 (preferred, not mandatory).

· Strong ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at one time.

· Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.

· Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and inspection processes.

· Ability to manage contractors, subcontractors and vendors.

· Ability to direct superintendents, project engineers and Project Managers to ensure accurate completion of project scope.

· Ability to meet sensitive timelines.

· Strong knowledge of building code and safety regulations.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, based on experience.
