Construction Project Coordinator/Jr. Estimator

RLM Enterprises, a family owned and operated painting contractor, is seeking a part time Project Coordinator/Jr. Estimator for our office in Napa. This position is 24 hours per week, with some flexibility on days and hours. This position will be performed at our office in Napa and does not accommodate working from home.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a high level of integrity, reliability and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

The Project Coordinator will assist the estimator, project managers, superintendents, foreman, and accounting staff with a wide variety of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

· Create new project folders

· Review project documents for accuracy and review job specific specifications

· Create, submit and follow up on various project specifications such as submittals, color plans, brush outs, change orders, etc.

· Ensure all safety manuals, reports, certifications are maintained and current.

· Collect, scan and file weekly safety meeting documents

· Act as primary liaison between off site estimator and owner. Will be responsible for ensuring takeoff’s are received timely and that owner has all information necessary to bid jobs

· Send and follow up on RFI’s

· Write up estimates and send timely per GC’s instructions.

· Review bid invites and follow up on bids sent.

· Maintain outstanding relationships with contractors, project owners, subcontractors, as well as the RLM team

· Be a key liaison between the field and the office.

· Other ad-hoc projects as requested

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience performing work of a similar nature for a construction company

· Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), OST Systems, Planswift and Dropbox. Quickbooks a plus.

· Ability to write reports and create spreadsheets

· Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing

· Excellent time management skills

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines

Salary based on experience.
