Construction Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
- Provide detailed and accurate bill of materials calculations
- Engage, negotiate and recommend business contracting decisions
- Build and maintain detailed job records for required weekly reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Build and maintain effective communications with all Clients, subcontractor, suppliers, and regulators.
- BS/BA 4 year degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
- 6 years of direct residential custom home construction management experience
- Extensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects
- Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Expertise with Co-Construct project management software, or similar management software
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills
- Local knowledge of sub-contractors and suppliers
