Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 / year
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER REPRESENTATIVE - NATIONAL PARK SERVICES - CALO HISTORICAL STRUCTURES
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Manager with a degree in Construction Management to join our team on a National Park Services Project in Cape Lookout, North Carolina. A summary of the major tasks is listed below.
Pre-Design/Design Phase
i. Scheduling
ii. Planning
iii. Value Engineering
iv. Market Analysis
v. Constructability and Phasing Review
Construction Period Phase
i. Establishing temporary field offices
ii. Monitoring project financial data and budgetary cost accounting
iii. Construction Phase scheduling
iv. Progress Meetings
v. Assisting in issue resolution.
vi. Testing and Inspection Services
vii. Commissioning
viii. Performing additional construction-related services
ix. Claims Analysis and Resolution Services
Required Qualifications:
- Licensing: none required
- Certification: NICET-CT, OSHA 30
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture/Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited school of higher education.
- Experience: Minimum of 5years of experience in both design and construction
- Prior experience working with Federal Government Project Managers/CORs on processing change orders, requests for information, submittals, and field observation reports.
- Knowledge: Able to quickly understand and master
- Requirements of local state and federal jurisdictions in relation to the Project.
- Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.
- Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling to lead to the project’s success.
- MS Project and Computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership: Must possess the ability to collaborate and integrate with other professionals
- Experience with Historic Restoration Projects
- PE license
- CCM, PMP certifications
