Job Description:
A renowned leader in geotechnical construction and engineering, focuses on private sector development, including mid-cap projects such as big box retail, restaurants, convenience stores, and strip malls is actively seeking dedicated Construction Inspectors/Staff Engineers to uphold the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
**Conduct construction phase testing and inspection of foundations, earthwork, soil compaction, concrete, reinforcing steel, and other materials.
**Ensure adherence to project specifications and design requirements.
**Operate Nuclear Density Gauge for soil testing and inspect concrete, masonry, bolting, steel, and welding.
Additional Information:
**This role requires extensive local travel to various job sites.
**Use of personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed monthly.
**Hybrid role: Inspectors work from home, travel to job sites for inspections, and return home for reporting.
**No company vehicle provided.
Schedule:
**Monday to Friday, 7-8 AM to 3-5 PM.
**Occasional weekend work may be required.
**Busy season typically in summer.
**Paid for commute to job sites.

Requirements:
**Minimum two years of experience in geotechnical construction inspection, including internships.
**Required Certifications: Nuclear Density Gauge Operator (Troxler), ACI certification for concrete testing.
**Preferred Certifications: ICC (soils, masonry, bolting, steel, welding).
**Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field preferred.
**Proficient in Microsoft Office.
