Construction Estimator- Roofing (EXPERIENCED ONLY)

Cityside Roofing is looking to hire a Construction Estimator for our Tavares office. We are looking for a hardworking Construction Estimator to join our team! As a Construction Estimator, your main responsibility will be to estimate the work of particular projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. You will use a full suite of technology to complete these tasks. 

Must have prior experience in Construction Estimating or a related field. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
• Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
• Resolves cost differences by analyzing and collecting info.
• Writes up budgets, reports, and project plans.
• Develops bids for construction projects.
• Requests RFI from builders.
• Works closely with our sales team and other professionals.
• Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff, if necessary.
• Navigates and understands building codes.
• Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required.
• Monitors construction processes.
• Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction.

Education, Experience, and Attributes

Essential (The following items are essential for applicants to possess.)

• Associates or Bachelors Degree
• English fluency
• 3 years of Construction Estimating experience
• Ability to use/learn business technology
• Analytical
• Self-Starter
• Detail-Oriented
• Problem Solver

Preferred

• Experience with estimating programs
• AutoCAD or other drafting program experience
