SHORELINE FOUNDATION INC. was founded in June of 1986 and is a fully licensed, insured and bonded contractor capable of handling your marine, heavy highway and deep foundation specialty construction projects. Through this diversification, we are able to execute projects throughout the United States with emphasis in Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. With an extensive inventory of heavy construction machinery and the best operators and craftsman in the industry, there is simply no project Shoreline Foundation cannot deliver. Responsibilities
- Creates timely and accurate estimates for prospective bids including obtaining inputs from vendors, subcontractors and field personnel as needed.
- Responsible for accuracy of bidding/estimation program including maintaining up to date material, pricing, and labor standards.
- Meet with prospective customers to gain insight into bid requirements, gathering of information regarding customer desires, scope, expected budget, potential snags and other bidders.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for new bids, performing measurements, takeoffs, calculating material and labor costs, production rates, etc. • Submit bids in line with submission requirement and schedules.
- Upon award, verify project scope and assemble official contract, drawings, and specification documents.
- Coordinate with design engineers, customers and project manager, superintendent, or foreman to resolve contract, specifications, and job questions.
- Establish a detailed plan for each job in accordance with the estimate, contract requirements and prints to ensure a clear project budget, job work plan and schedule.
- Perform pre-job briefings and participate in reviews with the production manager to assist in job planning and scheduling as well as input regarding tentative personnel assignments.
- From time to time assist/prepare purchase orders for purchases and other required information for project.
- Participate in customer or site project meetings, as required for scope or change order related item.
