An established and stable building & electrical contracting company seeks a Construction Estimator to accurately estimate labor and materials to perform and complete restorations, upgrades, and new construction/building projects involving multiple trades. The Construction Estimator position is for someone who will work closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and office team members. The Construction Estimator will use their construction knowledge and computer skills to perform takeoffs and calculate material and labor costs. The Construction Estimator is responsible for creating a written proposal to be submitted to clients. Multiple construction trades knowledge and experience required; specifically in framing, drywall, stucco, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, stone/concrete, hardware installation and painting. Must be responsible, dependable, and organized. Construction estimating & management experience required.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to create and maintain client schedules.
- Computer, internet, e-mail proficiency.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer programs in general with the ability to compose effective documents.
- Excellent written & verbal communication with clients, subs, suppliers, and office staff.
- Demonstrates eagerness to contribute to our team success.
