Job Type: Full Time in office

Job Title : BRAVO Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant. This position would involve working directly with our Manager of Finance and Operations, and Accounting Team. The candidate we are seeking must be a diligent self-starter. The candidate will be responsible for all Project Accounting functions including project set-up and maintenance and budgeting in our financial software system BST Global Enterprise, in addition to client invoicing, financial reporting and analysis, accounts receivable and payable processing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Project set up and maintenance in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

· Project budgeting and earnings analysis

· Prepares client invoices in accordance with contractual terms.

· Monitors WIP and unbilled balances for 90 days of aging or less.

· Monitors AR and unpaid balances for 90 days of aging or less.

· Review and monitor cost/performance on a weekly/monthly basis and alert Project Manager to potential problem areas.

· Review and process vendor and subconsultant project invoices either time and material or lump sum for accuracy prior to processing

· Conduct budget project review meetings with Project Managers as needed.

· Able to maintain filed and office staff weekly time sheets

· Assist Project Managers to successfully execute projects financially.

· Assist with general financial reporting, analysis and other corporate accounting functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

· 5-7 years of full-time experience working in the Design (Architecture & Engineering) and Construction Management field

· Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal governmental agency regulations and contractual requirements. (SCA, NYCHA, MTA etc)

· BST Global experience or similar software systems experience related to in the AEC industry

· Familiarity with certified payrolls and LCMS is a plus

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university

Salary: $85,000-$105,000
